Throughout the research and development efforts that went into the PFS technology, safety was considered of equal importance to that of achieving maximum well stimulation results. The goal was to identify highly energetic propellants that would be safe for operators to handle with minimal chance for accidental ignition or casing damage. The PFS propellant, manufactured by Aerojet and exclusively utilized by PFS, meets every safety criteria set forth and can be transported and handled in the field with minimal training. Because of our propellant's ability to generate very high levels of energy without compromising safety, the propellant chosen by PFS is utilized by the US Military to power shoulder-launched "Stinger" missile systems. As further evidence of the safety record, Aerojet's propellant is widely utilized by automobile manufacturers as the energy source for supplemental restraint air bag systems.

As a result of the highly predictable and manageable nature of the PFS well stimulation technology, near well bore and casing damage due to propellant misfires is extremely unlikely. To date, PFS has experienced no well bore or casing damage resulting from its well treatments.
