Shale well in Southern Colorado
This well was a
marginal oil producer in the historic Florence field of Colorado. Prior to
the treatment it was averaging 6 BOPD through an openhole completion with a
slotter liner. When the well went down for undetermined reasons, it was
scheduled for a Propellant Fracturing & Stimulation treatment.
The well responded very favorably. After an early 40+ BOPD spike, the well
settled down to about 8 BOPD for an extended period of time.
