With any
type of well stimulation process, the goal is to achieve fracturing
and near well bore clean up
within the rock formation surrounding the well, thus increasing
hydrocarbon communication back to the well bore. PFS's patented
technology including the ability to precisely model each
treatment in advance, insures that superior, multi-directional
fracturing occurs rather than more typical and limited unidirectional
fracturing common with other stimulation methods. Additionally,
the PFS system assures the predictability required to keep
potentially harmful explosive reactions from occuring. The multi-directional
fracturing patterns that result from the PFS treatment process
allow for longer and more frequent flow paths. This advantage
is due largely to the fractures branching out parallel to both
the maximum and minimum principle stress planes of the rock
formation. More multi-directional fracture length means greater
post-treatment hydrocarbon communication back to the well and
increased productivity.
