PFS's origins date
back over 15 years to the research lab of Dr. Richard Passamaneck, a widely
acknowledged expert in the field of solid rocket propellant technology.
While serving as a research engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory,
Dr. Passamaneck conducted extensive research into the performance
characteristics of solid rocket propellants. His research continued after
joining the faculty of the prestigious Colorado School of Mines in Golden,
Colorado as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering. During his tenure at CSM
and at the the University of Colorado, Denver, Dr. Passamaneck conducted a
study into the application of solid propellant technology to stimulate oil
and gas wells. Over seventy propellants were identified and tested to
determine the single propellant that possessed the critical performance
characteristics required to deliver the precise energy levels necessary to
successfully achieve multi-directional fracturing while maintaining a safe
and predictable treatment process. Today, due largely to the work done by
Dr. Passamaneck, PFS is gaining momentum across the Energy Sector as a
leader in providing safe, environmentally friendly and cost effective well
stimulation solutions.
